Interviews
Interview scheduling with Google Meet and Microsoft Teams from the hiring workflow
Interviews go wrong when the calendar is a side channel. Schedule Meet or Teams from the candidate record so the panel still has scores and responses.

The last mile of hiring is still a meeting. It is also where process quality collapses: a coordinator pastes links into WhatsApp, interviewers join without the test report, and notes live in someone’s inbox.
If the assessment was rigorous, the interview should inherit that context.
What interview coordination has to include
- A real time on a real calendar
- A Meet or Teams link the candidate can open
- Interviewer identity and role-based access
- The candidate’s application, scores, and work samples
- A place to record the outcome back on the same stage
Edgeryt Hire’s interview coordination is built around that list: recruiters and interviewers in the process, with scheduling through Google Meet and Microsoft Teams.

Practical setup for campus weeks and lateral loops
Campus. Batch similar interviews (same rubric, same panel role). Give each interviewer a short packet: role, score summary, two responses to probe, integrity notes if any. Do not make them hunt.
Lateral. Longer loops need named stages (hiring manager, tech, bar). Each stage should complete on the candidate so a later panel is not starting from zero.
Related: multi-stage assessments and shortlisting at volume.
How Edgeryt Hire fits
Hire connects applications, assessments, review, and interview scheduling. Shared hiring context uses role-based recruiter and interviewer access. The meeting is not a replacement for the evidence; it is the stage that uses it.
Calendar and video features depend on the connected Google or Microsoft account and the workspace setup. Confirm the connection on a demo if that is a hard requirement for your IT team.
Adjacent area: taking notes
A structured scorecard after the call is as important as the link. Free-text “seemed good” cannot be compared across 40 campus interviews. Tie notes to the same candidate the assessment already identified.
Questions teams ask
Can we keep using our own calendar?
You still use Google or Microsoft calendars. The point is that the event is created from the hiring record, not instead of it.
What about Zoom?
Use the meeting tools the product currently schedules. Do not assume a connector that is not listed on the overview or a demo.
Should interviewers see assessment flags?
Show flags that change how they should interpret the work sample. Hide recruiter chatter that is not decision-relevant.
